Unlike a book or a video, at Ravenhill Academy you can question and interact with other students and teachers. You can be tested and advised according to your own needs.

You might want to start with The Story of Chu Jeng, which is the first teaching story of Lung Tong and a metaphor for what Master Kevin Shearer achieved for us. His goal was to create a new benevolent fighting tong that would help people to develop their personal abilities in all aspects of life and enable them to achieve their own independent goals.
He did this through decades of personal study in many martial arts and disciplines under many teachers. Just as the men of the quest in Chu Jeng combine and refine their many arts into one, Master Shearer did this for us and created Wind Fist Kung Fu® and Lung Tong.
Wind Fist practitioners have an awesome record of success in fights on the street, sometimes when alone and vastly outnumbered. Even some of our beginners have defeated experienced martial artists from other styles.
We believe that both the art and the teacher must serve your unique personal needs as a student in order to prepare you for the street and generally strengthen you for life. Because Wind Fist is so diverse in technique, you can find your own personal niche in it and excel to heights beyond your imagination!
